www.maangal.com and Maangal application are owned and managed by Maangal Infotech Private Limited having its corporate office at 10 B, Ajabpur Kalan, Mothrowala Road, Dehradun.Any and all use of this website/application is subject to, and constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of, the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). It is mandatory for all Members of the Site to have read carefully, fully understood and be in total agreement to the below mentioned Terms before they proceed to use any of the services of the Site. The Services are available only to those individuals who can form legally binding contracts under the Indian laws. Maangal Infotech Private Limited may amend these Terms of Use at any time.

1. Definition
   1. Member: For purposes of this Agreement, a "Member" is any person who accesses the Site for whatever purpose, regardless of whether said Member has registered with Maangal.Com as a registered Member or whether said Member is a paying customer for a specific service provided by Maangal.Com. A Member includes the person using this Site and any legal entity which may be represented by such person under actual or apparent authority. The terms “member” and “user” connotes same meaning for the purposes of this agreement.
   2. Maangal.com: For the purposes of this agreement, the term ‘Maangal.com’ includes the website ‘Maangal.com’ and android application ‘Maangal’.
   3. Service: Service shall include all the services provided by Maangal Infotech Private Limited through its website and android application.
2. Acceptance
   By using this site and the services, the user hereby accepts and confirms that
   1. All information submitted for registration is true and accurate.
   2. The user is registering as a member with bonafide intention of getting into a matrimonial alliance and shall not use any of the services provided by maangal.com for casual dating or any malafide purposes.
3. Eligibility
   1. You must be legally competent to enter into this agreement according to the Indian laws.
   2. You must be of legal marriageable age as per the Indian laws.
   3. Maangal.com only provides online classifieds for persons who are looking to get into lawful marriage alliance. Membership in the service shall be void where prohibited.
   4. By using any of the services provided by Maangal.com, you expressly confirm that you are not prohibited by any law, or order or decree of any court, tribunal or any such competent authority restraining you form entering into matrimony.
4. Duration of the Agreement
   1. This agreement shall be valid and applicable as long as you use the site.
   2. You may terminate your membership at any point of time, for any reason by writing to maangal.com. in the event of termination of the membership by you, there will be no refund of any unutilized subscription fee, if any, paid by you, except where otherwise guaranteed in writing.
   3. Maangal.com reserves the right to terminate your access to the website/application and your membership for any reasons whatsoever in order to protect the interests of other members of Maangal.com or/and the interests of Maangal.com
5. Terms of use for the members
   1. You shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Maangal.com shall not be responsible for the activities that occur under your account.
   2. You hereby understand and agree that the membership is for individual use and is non-transferable. You understand that it will be at Maangal.com’s sole discretion to terminate the membership on the marriage of member, or formal announcement of impending marriage.
   3. The activity and status of each account is subject to review by Maangal.com and the same can be blocked based on such review.
   4. The site and application must only be used for lawful purposes. The members must use the services in such a way that it is not against any law, rule, or/and in violation of any order/judgement/decree of any competent authority.
   5. You confirm that the personal information and content provided by you is correct and accurate.
   6. Maangal.com takes measures including technological means on the Site to exclude IRC bots, robots, scripts, automated processes etc. from crawling or scraping content on the Site. You undertake not to circumvent these methods.
   7. You hereby agree and confirm that you have no objection in receiving emails, messages and calls from maangal.com, and/or members of maangal.com, and/or the subsidiaries of maangal.com as long as you are a registered member. Your consent shall supersede any registration done with DND register or National Consumer Preference Register.
6. Profile Verification
   You have to submit a copy of valid ID proof in order to get your profile verified and to earn the verified badge on your profile. The details of your personal ID will not be shared with any of the members or on any part of the website.
7. Content Restrictions and Regulation
   1. Maangal.com holds exclusive right and authority to restrict/delete any content, communication, photos, profiles that in the sole discretion of the site violates this agreement or which might be offensive, illegal, obscene, pornographic, harmful to other’s privacy, or otherwise unlawful in any other manner whatsoever and it shall without notice stop providing the service entitled to a User and forfeit all other incidental service(s) with immediate effect along with the fee/tenure of registration as well as take appropriate legal action against such User.
   2. You hereby agree and understand you are solely responsible and liable for the content you post on the website. It includes personal details, data, text, messages, or any other content whether posted publicly or privately.
   3. You hereby agree and understand that posting of multiple profiles of the same person is not allowed. Maangal.com reserves the right to deactivate all multiple profiles of the same person without any refund of subscription fees.
   4. The services provided by Maangal.com are for the personal use of individual members and the same cannot be used in connection with any commercial endeavours. Maangal.com reserves the right to take appropriate steps/initiate legal proceedings against the infringement of its proprietary rights and against the illegal/unauthorized use of the services.
   5. Maangal.com reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any information posted on the Site. In exercising this right, the Site may ask you to provide any documentary or other form of evidence to support the information posted by you and failure to produce such relevant evidence to the satisfaction of the Site may lead to termination of your account without a refund.
   6. The following is a partial list of the kind of content that is illegal or prohibited at Maangal.com. The site will investigate and take appropriate legal action in its sole discretion against anyone who violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending communication from the being a part of the services and terminating the Membership of such violators without a refund. It includes the content that:
      1. Causes or tends to cause harassment of another person;
      2. Promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
      3. Involves unsolicited mass mailing or "spam messages", or/and the transmission of "junk mail", "chain letters";
      4. Promotes any information that is misleading, false or that promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous;
      5. Causes or tends to cause unauthorized or an illegal copy of another person's copyrighted work;
      6. Exhibits pornographic or obscene or sexually explicit material of any kind;
      7. Provides any kind of instructional information or toolkit about any illegal activities;
      8. Seeks passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users; and
      9. Provides material that may exploit people under the age of 18 in a sexual or violent manner, or solicits personal information from anyone under 18
      10. Relates to commercial activities and/or sales without the consent of Maangal.com
8. Members Communication Inter se
   1. The Users are solely responsible for their communications with other member(s). Maangal.com hereby expressly disclaims any liability for any interaction(s), transaction(s), or communication(s) between the members inter se via any medium whatsoever.
   2. Maangal.com reserves the right to take appropriate/legal action against errant members.However, it is at sole discretion of maangal.com whether to share such action information with other members (including complainant) or not.
9. Disclaimers
   1. Maangal.com does not control/authenticate/verify the content posted or made available on the site by the users and does not assure the accuracy, reliability, or quality of such content. It is hereby advised to all the users to verify the contents posted by other members before acting upon the same, and under no conditions and circumstances will maangal.com be liable in any manner for any loss or damage incurred as a result of any content shared via the service.
   2. Maangal.com does not promise or guarantee any specific results from the use of the site or services. The site does not guarantee, either express or implied, the compatibility with members you meet through the Service.
   3. Maangal.com is intended only to serve as an online matrimonial classified, and preliminary medium of contact and information and does not portray itself as a marriage or business bureau and does not, in any manner whatsoever, monitor the first or subsequent contacts, introductions and/or interactions which may be caused due to any information specified in its contents.
   4. The shortlisted profile(s), matching profile(s), interested profile(s) that may be sent through or by the Site is not a matrimonial offer and/or recommendation from/by the Site. The Member is solely responsible for his / her decision to pursue any such profile holders and the Site shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any individual arising out of, or subsequent to, any relations (including but not limited to matrimonial relations) established pursuant to the use of the services on the Site.
   5. Maangal.com disclaims any liability for any illegal content posted on the site by any users, or any third party.
   6. Maangal.com does not promise an errorproof service and disclaims any liability in matters related to/arising out of any malfunctioning or technical fault in telephone network, servers, equipment, software, or any problems related with internet.
10. Propriety Rights
    Maangal.com owns and retains all propriety rights in the Site and the services provided thereunder. The Site contains to the extent protected by applicable laws, copyrighted material, trademarks, and other proprietary information of its owners and its licensors. Except for that information which is in the public domain or for any other information/display for which permission have not been obtained from Maangal.com, Maangal.com reserves the right to proceed/initiate appropriate steps under the prevailing law against infringement of the said proprietary rights for illegal copying, modifying, publishing, transmitting, distributing, performing, displaying, or selling of any such proprietary information.
11. Jurisdiction
    You unconditionally agree that all the disputes and / or differences related to service provided by maangal.com, if any shall be governed by the Laws of India and submitting to the exclusive Jurisdiction of appropriate court of law inDehradun, India.
12. Limitation on Liability
    1. In no circumstances will Maangal.com be liable to you or any third party for any loss or damage of any sort arising out of the use and/or temporary or permanent discontinuation of its services. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Maangal.com’s liability to you for any cause whatsoever, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to Maangal.com, for the Service during the term of the membership.
    2. b. Under no circumstances will Maangal.com will be liable for the member entering into financial transaction with any other Member or any third party.
13. Indemnity
    You agree to indemnify and hold Maangal.com, its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, and other partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Service in violation of this Agreement and/or arising from a breach of these Terms of Use and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above.
14. Other
    You hereby understand that this agreement contains the entire agreement between you and Maangal.com regarding the use of the Site and/or the service. If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid, the remainder of this agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
    
    By registering as a member on Maangal.com and/or using the services of the Site, you hereby confirm that you have read and understood the above terms and conditions and you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to any of the above terms and conditions, you are hereby advised not to register on/use the Site.
    
    This Agreement is an electronic document in terms of I.T. Act, 2000 and Rules thereunder pertaining to electronic records as applicable and amended. This electronic document is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
